With exposed beams, historic details and natural light from the old windows, Pladeværkstedet creates a truly special atmosphere, with room for big ideas and unforgettable moments.

The process from your first enquiry to the moment you are standing in the middle of the celebration – giving you a clear picture of how everything can unfold.
Everything begins with an enquiry. When you contact us, we have a conversation about your wishes, budget and dreams for the day. If you are looking for a wedding with raw surroundings, high ceilings and an urban feel, we often recommend Pladeværkstedet as your ideal wedding venue in Copenhagen. You may also have already discovered Pladeværkstedet yourself and sent a direct enquiry. If you are planning a summer wedding, you will therefore often be referred directly to us, as we handle most weddings at Pladeværkstedet during the summer season.
Next, we arrange a viewing. Here, you get to experience the venue in person – the raw walls and floors, the industrial natural light and the large terrace that shields you from Reffen’s lively atmosphere and festive energy.
Many of our couples choose to arrive at the wedding by boat – for example from Nyhavn or Christianshavn – and make the journey part of the experience. It is a wonderful way to set the mood before arriving at your celebration.
Once you have decided that Pladeværkstedet is to provide the setting for your big day, we send you a bespoke proposal and then plan the entire process.

When the day arrives, our role is to make sure everything runs smoothly – so you can simply enjoy the moment.
We welcome suppliers, make sure the food is served on time, keep track of the timeline and solve any unexpected challenges without you noticing.

Last summer, we arranged a wedding where the guests sailed from Christianshavn and made a stop at Reffen food market. Here, we served affogato to everyone while they enjoyed the view and the relaxed atmosphere. It was an informal yet magical moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.
